- Brush regularly with a loop or boar bristle brush to prevent tangles. Start at the ends and work your way up.
- Never brush wet extensions—use a wide-tooth comb and apply a leave-in conditioner or detangler first.
Bedtime Care: Beauty Sleep, Literally
- Sleep with a silk or satin pillowcase to reduce friction.
- Braid or twist hair loosely to avoid matting and tangles while you sleep.
- Avoid sleeping with wet hair—it can lead to knots and even damage the bond or weft.
Washing Tips: Less Is More
- Wash no more than 2–3 times per week to preserve the integrity of the hair and bond.
- Use sulfate-free, extension-safe shampoos—we love the Davines OI or NOUNOU line for nourishment.
- Always apply conditioner mid-shaft to ends (not at the root or bond area).
Styling: Heat With Caution
- Use a heat protectant before any styling tools.
- Keep heat tools away from the root or weft connection.
