Our Story
I’m Justyna and I’m so excited to share with you my passion for what I do. I started in the beauty industry more then 20 years ago,” CRAZY to even say that.” And five years ago during Covid, I decided to start a new adventure into owning my own business as a studio salon owner. I love this industry! This career has allowed me to travel the world, to work with the most talented stylists, and has granted me some of the most incredible clients. I have an amazing husband and two beautiful children. I fell into this industry, but it’s been one of the biggest blessings in my life. I now have been granted with a beautiful talented team of stylist. I feel so blessed in so many ways and am eternally grateful to be in this industry. I am also grateful that I get to share my life, my talent with amazing clients and colleagues everyday. Thank you all for the continuous love and support.

Hi all! I am very excited to join Monarch Studio. I was born In Mexico, and raised in San Diego since I was a baby. I’ve lived here my whole life, and still need a gps to get around. I have been in the beauty industry for over ten years and ready to be in it for many more. Thank you to everyone who’s been with me since the early days, to my move to this wonderful studio. I’m excited to share this space with everyone and give y’all that one on one attention at your appointment. Thank you Justyna and Jen for receiving me into your hair home with open arms. I can’t wait to create more memories, friendships, and beautiful hair!

I’m all about creating hair that feels just as good as it looks — soft, effortless, and completely you. Whether we’re refreshing your color, trying something new, or just enjoying a little self-care time, my chair is a space where you can relax, laugh, and leave feeling beautiful. I specialize in lived-in color, natural blonding, low-maintenance cuts, and styles that grow out beautifully. When I’m not behind the chair, you’ll usually find me at a farmers market or local coffee shop with at-least one of my four babies in tow. I believe in loving your neighbor well, being the person you would want your daughter to look up to, and hair days that boost your mood and your confidence. Let’s create something beautiful together!

California-born and raised-I’ve been calling San Diego home for over 13 years. I’m a stylist with nearly a decade behind the chair. I love working on lived-in blondes, brunettes, bobs, and layered cuts—always finished with a flawless blow-dry. Hi, my name is Danielle. I'm an Arizona native who grew up visiting San Diego and loved it so much that I had to make it my home. With eight years of experience behind the chair, I love lived-in blonding/color, effortless haircuts, and anything that enhances your natural beauty.
Outside of the salon, I love spending time with family, reading a good book, or enjoying a relaxing day at the beach.
Whether you need a much-needed self-care day with girl talk or a silent appointment to recharge, that's exactly what you'll get in my chair. I can't wait to meet you!
Jennifer Wynn brings together creative artistry, emotional intelligence, and nearly two decades of professional experience to offer a salon experience that is grounded, personalized, and deeply client centered.
Known for her intuitive understanding of what clients want to look like and feel like, Jennifer specializes in creating natural, lived-in color and thoughtful cuts that enhance each person's unique features and personality.
Her background in counseling and psychology shapes her calm, attuned approach behind the chair. Jennifer believes that beauty is inseparable from wellbeing — and that a salon should feel like a supportive space where people can unwind, reconnect with themselves, and walk out feeling genuinely renewed.
In addition to her work as a stylist, Jennifer mentors emerging professionals, supports community causes, and continues her graduate-level journey in psychology — all part of her commitment to helping others feel grounded, confident, and cared for.

I have been in San Diego for 12 years and a hairstylist for about 3 years. I'm currently building my portfolio and growing my clientele, and I love working with people who want a stylist who truly listens, pays attention to detail, and brings a creative eye to every service. I love in layered haircuts, blended blondes, color transformations, and styling that fits your everyday lifestyle.
